Thank You to Our March Madness Student Takeover Teams from MBU, ODU and VCU!
VANA wishes to extend a special thank you to the incredible nurse anesthesia students from Mary Baldwin University (MBU), Old Dominion University (ODU), and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) who participated in our annual March Madness social media takeover!
Throughout the second half of March and early April, students from each program gave our followers an inside look into their daily lives—highlighting everything from clinical rotations and classroom learning to faculty spotlights and personal journeys into the nurse anesthesia profession. Their creative and authentic posts brought new energy to our platforms and helped shine a spotlight on the rigorous training and passion behind every future CRNA.
From sunrise scrubs to study sessions and supportive classmates, each takeover gave a unique perspective on what it means to be a student in a nurse anesthesia program. We’re grateful for the time and thought each student put into making their school’s voice heard.
The future of our profession is clearly in strong, capable hands. Thank you again to the amazing MBU, ODU, and VCU students for your leadership, professionalism and enthusiasm. We can’t wait to see where your careers take you—and we hope to see you leading the way at VANA in the years ahead!
