CRNAs in Senate District 9: Your vote is needed in the Firehouse Primary on Feb. 26

This Sunday, Feb. 26, there will be a Special Election to fill Senator McClellan’s seat – Senate District 9 – in Virginia’s General Assembly. Sen. McClellan will be vacating her seat as she was elected to represent Virginia’s 4th Congressional District earlier this week. We encourage residents of Virginia’s 9th Senate District to take part in the upcoming Firehouse Primary this Sunday.

A Writ of Election was issued shortly before 5 pm Wednesday and a Special Election date was set for March 28, 2023. A Firehouse Primary will be conducted this Sunday, Feb. 26 because there are three Democratic candidates seeking the office, including Del. Lamont Bagby, Alexsis Rodgers, and nurse practitioner Del. Dawn Adams.

The Firehouse Primary will take place on Sunday, Feb. 26th from 9 am until 6 pm. There have been five locations chosen for voting during this Sunday’s Firehouse Primary, and you may vote at any of the locations listed below:

Please remember to vote on Sunday, Feb. 26 at the locations mentioned above and be sure to show up for the special election on March 28.
