Action Needed: Sign up to meet with your legislators
One of the most critical actions VANA members can take as we prepare for the 2024 session of the General Assembly is to meet with legislators to discuss the important issues facing CRNAs in Virginia. Time and again, we’ve heard from our elected officials about the importance of these meetings. Building these relationships between CRNAs and elected officials can help make the difference during the upcoming General Assembly session.

We need as many VANA members as possible to brief their legislators on the important work CRNAs do in Virginia. We need to stress the importance of changing the Code of Virginia away from supervision and to consultation. After completing this form, we will follow up with you on the next steps for setting up your meeting with your Delegate and Senator. We are here to help you through this process!
These meetings will be critical to VANA’s action plan this summer, fall and winter. Meeting with your legislators will help advance our profession in the Commonwealth and help add a personal touch to our engagement with Virginia’s elected officials. Building relationships with our legislators will make it easier to get their support for our legislation when the General Assembly session begins.
