Attention CRNAs! You are invited to join us IN PERSON in Norfolk for the VANA 2021 Annual Fall Conference. This is an excellent opportunity to reconnect with your CRNA peers for cutting-edge educational lectures on topics of critical importance to the practice of nurse anesthesia.

Saturday evening VANA will hold Jazzfest, a night of drinks and dancing at The Main benefitting the CRNA-PAC, Virginia CRNAs Who Care About Healthcare. You can buy tickets upon registration.

  • Registration fees depend on your registration type. Learn more on the registration page, linked below.
  • Jazzfest tickets are $75 for general admission and $30 for students. This year all proceeds will benefit the CRNA-PAC, Virginians Who Care About Healthcare. Your contribution to the CRNA-PAC is not tax deductible. Additional information will be collected on the form for reporting purposes.

COVID Protocols:
The safety of attendees, presenters, and venue personnel remains our top priority. As such, we will follow COVID safety protocols and mandates set forth by federal, state, and/or local authorities at the time of the event.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Requiring all attendees to wear a mask unless eating or drinking
  • Requiring physical distancing in all sessions
  • Breaking the attendees into smaller groups
  • Additionally, we are working in tandem with the Hilton Norfolk at the Main to further ensure the safety and health of all present. Read more on Hilton’s CleanStay program.

Hilton Norfolk The Main’s proactive actions include:

  • All staff will wear masks
  • Hand sanitizing dispensers located at each entrance and at all elevator lobbies
  • Social distancing signage
  • Social distancing room setup for events

Conference specific actions:

  • All conference activities have been upgraded to the largest function space available
  • This year we will host our traditional PAC fundraising event, Jazzfest, at the hotel in a larger socially distanced space
  • All meals will be served “cafeteria style” by designated Hilton team members
