2025 District 2 ACLS/PALS/BLS Renewal – Reston

VANA District 2 and The Heart Center will be hosting an ACLS/PALS/BLS renewal course on Saturday, March 8 at the Reston Hospital Center from 8 am – 12:30 pm.

Registration: $415/person
Breakfast, coffee, and snacks will be provided.

You should prepare for the course by doing the following:
1. Complete the Pre-Course Preparation Checklist that comes with your ACLS or PALS Provider Manual.
2. Review and understand the information in your ACLS or PALS Provider Manual.
3. Ensure that your BLS skills and knowledge are current for the resuscitation scenarios. You will be tested on adult high-quality BLS skills at the beginning of the ACLS or PALS Course.

What to Bring and What to Wear

Please bring the following to class:
1. A photocopy of the front and back your current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS cards to class for collection. To recall a copy of your eCards, go to www.Heart.org/mycards.
2. The printed Pretest score with a result of at least 94% or greater. You can access the Pretests at:

You must then register with your name and email. After signing in, you may start the pretest. Upon completion, please remember to print the pretest Certificate of Completion and bring to class.

If you do not have a current AHA card, you would need to complete the ACLS and/or PALS Heartcode Online Course, print the Certificate of Completion, and bring to class for collection instead of a current AHA card.
