District 5 Journal Club and Reception

Journal Club is back! VANA is partnering with the VCU Dept of Nurse Anesthesia to offer a journal club for CRNAs and SRNAs in District 5, and any other CRNAs who would like to join. Visit with us in the beautiful new Health Professions building, network with colleagues from around the District and enjoy a talk about new and pertinent topics in anesthesia. Scotty D Bowie, Jr. CRNA, MSNA, will be talking about the “Preoperative Assessment of a Cardiac Patient for Non-Cardiac Surgery,” and Christopher Simons, SRNA, will be speaking about “The Intrinsic Antiemetic Properties of Propofol.”

This program has been prior approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists for 1.00 Class A CE Credits; Code Number 1038593; Expiration Date 1/6/2020.

AANA designates this program as meeting the criteria for up to 0.25 CE Credits in Pharmacology/Therapeutics.
