2017 Fall Conference

2021 VANA Winter Workshop held in District 5
Saturday, February 6, 2021

The Westin Richmond
6631 W Broad Street
Richmond, VA 23230

The VANA Education and Programs Committee has been hard at work planning an exciting and educational 2021 Winter Workshop. We recognize the strong desire expressed by some members to hold an in-person event. We must balance that desire with state and local guidance, our venue’s social distancing and capacity protocols, and the overall health and safety of our members, speakers and staff. With this in mind, and where we hope the Commonwealth will be with the control of COVID-19 come February 2021, we are making plans for Winter Workshop to have a capped number of in-person attendees while providing a virtual option for all others. We are aware of the Governor’s current limitations on in-person gatherings. We will continue to monitor the Governor’s orders and adjust as appropriate. We will also continue to work closely with the venue on the implementation of distancing and other safety protocols. If we are unable to hold the limited in-person gathering as planned, we have a Plan B to go fully virtual and will stay in close communication with all VANA members on our plans to pivot. I hope you will join us this year; we have a great line-up of speakers planned! I encourage you to register at your earliest convenience so that have a good sense of our in-person participation.

Join us in Richmond, Va., or virtually, for a one-day conference featuring:
* Top-notch speakers on cutting-edge topics in anesthesia

VANA Silent Auction
The annual VANA Silent Auction, to benefit the CRNA-PAC, will be featured virtually and at the 2021 Winter Workshop in Richmond. This is a marquee fundraiser that helps support the CRNA-PAC, which serves to raise visibility of CRNAs and the importance of the profession among candidates for state office who have taken responsible positions regarding quality health care and other issues of importance to CRNAs, regardless of their political affiliation.

How can you contribute to the silent auction?

1. Donate an item or experience. Are you, or someone you know, crafty? Would you, or someone you know, like to teach a class on a hobby you do well? Think cooking, baking, knitting or pottery. Some other ideas include: gift certificates to restaurants, spas, salons, fitness centers, gift shops, theme parks and other entertainment venues; jewelry or other collectibles; or tickets or paraphernalia for college and other professional sports. Interested in donating? Click here to access the donation form. Questions? Contact PAC Committee Chair, Diane Miller at dmiller.teamvana@gmail.com.

2. Attend Winter Workshop & bid on an item, or bid online! The proceeds go directly to the CRNA-PAC. Remember, every dollar counts!

Registration information coming soon.
